Story

Story

Kapshoo was born from a loss, unconditional love and a human truth that was presented to us through a gift. It wasn't born in a boardroom.

Kapshoo is a place where people, businesses, communities and charities come together

to create a lasting legacy of good.

A few years ago, our Co-Creators, Heather and Simon, gave their parents a memory book and asked them to share their stories, their precious memories, their family history and the moments in life that transformed who they became. We believed we had time.

Heathers dad loved history and took the time to complete every page of his memory book before he sadly passed away.

He wrote about being the youngest of eleven children, his time in the army, the life he had lived and the love he felt for me as his only child. Through his words, Heather discovered parts of her dad she may never have known.

He also preserved the story of Heathers great-grandparents, giving their family a deeper connection to who they are and where they came from.

Without that book, so much of their family history could have been lost forever. Today, it is one of the most precious gifts Heather owns and a lasting connection to an amazing dad she misses every day.

Not just the record of what happened, but the authentic feeling, shared perspective, why it mattered and the human truth of those moments.

When those moments are connected, they become more than memories.

They become meaningiful. They help people see the value of what they have created, shared and contributed.

They help businesses, communities and causes show the collective impact created through the people connected to them.

Physical memories fade. Photographs yellow. Handwriting disappears over time.

It was already happening. And we had to protect it. Simon's mum began to write in her memory book. But Parkinson's dementia had already begun its quiet work. The words came more slowly. Then less. Then stopped. Everything she had lived and loved and learned deserved so much more than the few precious memories she was able to leave behind.

Then stopped. Everything she had lived and loved and learned deserved so much more than the few precious memories she was able to leave behind.

As Heathers dad, Simons dad and Simon’s mum had all sadly passed away, Heathers mum had become the only parent who was still with us and became the elder of their family.

Several years earlier, Heather’s mum had suffered a severe stroke. As Heather approached her 60th birthday, they decided it was the right time to capture their family history: her mum’s treasured recipes, which the children had always loved from their Nanna’s kitchen, and the stories behind the hundreds of photographs she had cherished throughout her life.

The plan was for them to spend time reminiscing together as mother and daughter. Heather would record her mum sharing the memories in her own voice, preserving not only what had happened, but the emotion, character and perspective behind every story.

One day, Heather hoped to pass those memories on to their two wonderful children, seven grandchildren and beautiful great-granddaughter.

"My mum sadly died two weeks before my birthday from a very bad stroke.  Simon and I had lost all our parents. Our hearts weighed heavy and our lives would never be the same again.  We never wanted this to happen to anyone else."

Kapshoo® gives every family one safe place to bring their story together.

Kapshoo® gives every family one safe place to bring their story together.

Not only photographs, but the feelings behind them. Not only memories, but the voices, warmth and love that made those moments unforgettable.

Each story can be shaped by the people who were there, then carried forward to children, grandchildren and future generations. It can help them feel close to the people they love and connected to family members they may never have had the chance to meet.

Because, with time, even the voices we know by heart can begin to fade.

Kapshoo® helps keep those voices, memories and feelings safe, so they can still be heard, relived and carried forward with love.

"We have two lives. The second begins when we realise we only have one."

-Confucius

For many of us, the truth that we have only one life becomes clear through loss. A voice begins to fade. A story is never captured. Someone we love is gone before we have had the time to ask the questions we wish we had answers to.

Technology could help preserve and bring stories to life, but it should never replace the human truth within them.

Technology could help preserve and bring stories to life, but it should never replace the human truth within them.

Kapshoo had to be a place where technology served humanity, not the other way around. A place that protected people’s most personal memories while still allowing others to contribute with love, trust and permission. So, we began listening.

We spoke with families, people grieving loved ones, those facing illness, new parents and people who wanted to preserve the stories that mattered before it was too late. Again and again, the same truth appeared.

Memories fade. Stories scatter. And even in a digital world, people still do not always feel safe enough to share what is most personal.

Too often, the encouragement to capture the moment only comes when it is no longer possible.

The feeling. The voice. The shared perspective. The human truth. But we could not find a place that felt safe enough, personal enough or human enough.

In a world where so much is shared publicly, judged quickly and increasingly shaped by algorithms, we knew this had to be different.

As AI begins to create different versions of reality around us, especially for younger generations, we felt an even greater responsibility to protect what is real: human memory, lived experience, shared perspective and the feeling behind the moments that shape us.

That is where Kapshoo began. As a safe place that felt like home.

A place where stories could be shared with authenticity. Where memories could be preserved. Where voices could be heard and where people could add their own perspective and help build a more meaningful picture of the moments that mattered.

No ads, no judgement and privacy controlled by the people who own the story. A happy place for shared joy, reflection, healing and connection that will last for generations.

Memories that people thought had faded and conversations were happening that had never happened before. It was helping families to feel closer and loved ones were being remembered in ways that felt alive. That was when we realised this was much bigger than preserving memories.

From home to work

From home to work

The more we listened, the more we realised this was not only a story about home.

The same truth was appearing in work, in communities and in the causes people care about. In every place, the same problem appeared. The good was happening, the feeling was real and the impact mattered. But the story was still scattered.

That was the real shift - we as people have one story and it exists in many places. This was about human impact.

Across every part of life, good was happening everywhere but without connection, too much of it remained unseen, unsupported or unable to grow. Good was happening everywhere. But it needs a connected home.

The world needs a Human Impact Network.

The world needs a Human Impact Network.

For People

Capture the moments, voices and feelings that shape your life, and build the story with the people who shared it.

For Business

Connect the people, stories and proof behind the good your business creates, so more people can see it, trust it and take part.

For Communities

Bring together local people, their voices and shared experiences, so your community can be seen, heard and supported.

For Causes

Share the stories behind your cause, so the difference you make can reach more hearts, inspire greater support and achieve your purpose.

When human good becomes visible, everything changes.

But the world is not short of good. It is short of the trust, visibility and connection needed to draw people meaningfully into the story.

The Human Impact Network is the living home for our world. Not instead of artificial intelligence - but alongside it. As the irreplaceable, living proof that the love and humanity behind everything we do is what gives it meaning and purpose.

When businesses share the good their people create, they build trust, inspire pride and grow with purpose. Their success creates opportunities, supports families and strengthens communities.

When causes make their work visible, more people can see the difference, connect with their purpose and choose to support them. The good already happening can reach further.

It's creation cannot be built by technology alone.

When communities share their stories, people discover where they belong, how they can take part and what can be achieved together.

When families preserve their memories, voices and wisdom, children gain a deeper sense of who they are and where they come from.

And when young people grow up seeing kindness, courage and generosity around them, they grow up believing they belong and can help shape a better future.

When good is seen and felt, more people are inspired to become part of it.
