After more than 40 years helping organisations grow, build value and demonstrate positive impact, and through the partnerships we have built, one deeply personal experience revealed the same truth we would later see everywhere.
People do not engage because they are told to. They engage when they feel connected.
Connected to a memory.
Connected to a person.
Connected to a cause.
Connected to a community.
Connected to a story they feel part of.
That realisation became the Human Impact Network.

Heather Carter, Kapshoo's co-founder, was given a memory book by her father. A tapestry of school days, army tales and shared moments that friends and family had filled in over the years. Each page held a piece of his story that nobody else could have told.
When she read it, she felt the love that had gone into it from every direction. It became one of the most loved things she owned.
Her husband Simon gave the same book to his mother. It stayed unfinished. She didn't know where to start, or how to make her contribution feel meaningful, sitting alone with a blank page.
The difference was simple. Heather's book had been shaped by many hands. Simon's mother faced an empty page alone.
A story built together comes to life in a way a story only one person could tell never does.
Kapshoo® was born
Kapshoo was first created as a private, ad-free place where families could capture memories together and make sure meaningful stories were not lost.
More than 3,000 people joined the beta community. That told us something important. This was not just a nice idea. It answered a real human need.
People want to remember. They want to be recognised. They want to feel that the moments and contributions that shape their lives have somewhere to live.
But as we built Kapshoo, we began to see the same pattern everywhere.
In business. In charities. In the local communities that we supported.
Why Connection Matters
The world is asking organisations to show more positive impact. But obligation alone will not create engagement.
Nobody wants to be told to care. People engage when something touches them. A cause that reflects their own experience. A community that feels close to home. A story that moves them. A moment where they can see the difference they can make.
That is the deeper purpose of the Human Impact Network. To connect people to the good they are meant to be part of. And to give that good somewhere to live, grow and inspire what comes next.
One Network. Many Chapters

The most meaningful stories are built together.
Kapshoo started with a simple belief. The most meaningful stories are built together.
Today, that belief is becoming the Human Impact Network.
A connected home for the good people create. At home. At work. In communities. Through the causes we support.
Because human impact should not disappear after the moment.
It should be connected, recognised and carried forward. And when people feel connected to the good they are part of, more good becomes possible.

The future will not be built by one organisation, one community or one cause. It will be built by the good we connect.
